Create functionality to identify how many other users are checking particular listing. This information is then shown on listing page to make items more attractive and tries to push buyers to contact seller as listing looks "wanted".
XY people viewed this listing recently.
Plugin calculate number of users based on their IP address those has opened listing page in last 30 minutes.
Message is shown on listing page in format "XY people viewed this listing recently.", in order to make listing more attractive and that other people are checking same listing as well - so go and contact seller and buy this item!
There are many configuration options for message box:
- Threshold limit - define for how many minutes is user considered as "online" for listing.
- Type of box - floating or inline
- Color scheme - dark or light
- Position - select corner for floating box
- Hook, Automatic fade out, Count only logged...
Last, plugin also contains modificators to values shown, i.e. if you want to increase number:
- Base value - default value added to real visitors
- Multiplier - multiply number of real visitors with multiplier
- Minumum - show box just in case there are at least minimum number of visitors
Let's say we have base value = 10, multiplier = 3 and minimum = 2, then message box will be visible just in case there are at least 2 online users and will show value 10 + 3*{online users count}
