Plugin Limitations and Notes

This plugin is optimized for simplicity and performance. It is not recommended for use with a large number of channels. The ideal setup is between 1 to 5 channels. The first channel in the list acts as the default channel and will be shown to users initially. If a channel is set to public, any logged-in user can post messages there. If set to private, only administrators (who must also be logged in as users) can publish messages in that channel.

Messages are retained only for a limited time, depending on your configured cleanup policy. This ensures performance remains high and channels do not become overloaded with outdated content.

Note: We strongly recommend to use this plugin on Osclass 8.3 or higher, even there should be no hard limitation on using it in older versions of Osclass.

Note: Emoji support require correct encoding in communication between database and Osclass. This has been implemented in Osclass 8.3 (utf8 -> utf8mb4). Means on older versions of Osclass, emoji may not be stored properly.

Note: Plugin use profile picture features integrated in Osclass 4.2, it will not consider profile pictures uploaded using plugins or via other features.
