Contact Form Limits Plugin

Contact form limits plugin protects forms on your Osclass classifieds website and does not allow to spam your customers. Plugin can also create new ban rules for spammers those use banned words (i.e. some domain) or they are trying to continuously send mails even they were blocked.

Protect contact form

Plugin has several levels of limits (mails sent per period):

• Hourly limit - check if hourly limit of sent messages was not reached
• Daily limit - check if daily limit of sent messages was not reached
• Weekly limit - check if weekly limit of sent messages was not reached
• Monthly limit - check if monthly limit of sent messages was not reached

If any of these limits is reached, email/message is not sent and log about this action is created.

These limit checks are performed on email base as well as IP base.

Following forms will be protected:

• Web contact form
• Item contact form
• Item send friend form

Ban spammer

Plugin has feature to ban customer, that constantly tries to send messages even these are blocked and customer is informed about it (most probably spam bot).

If there is more than XY consequent blocked attempts, customer is banned:

• based on used email
• based on used IP address
• based on used IP mask (i.e. 192.168.1.*)

Which of these rules is applied (one or all) is defined by admin.

Blocked words & banned words

Admin can also define list of blocked & banned words for higher protection.

Block words - if one or more of blocked words is used in body of message, message will get blocked and is not sent.

Ban words - if one or more banned words is used in body of message, message will get blocked and is not sent. Customer will be banned as well and will not be able to use contact forms anymore.

Log contact form activity

Contact form protection plugin will track activity on your forms and create log each time message is sent (or blocked).

Admin can easily search in logs to identify spam load, ban triggers or block triggers and why customer or message has been blocked.
