Why not plugin?

There are several reasons why DocsBase template has been created as a standalone free theme:

• Utilize powerful Osclass search and management capabilities (item = docs article). There are no limits for your articles. You need million of docs pages? Not a single problem!
• Outsource documentation creation into separate installation. This allows outsourcing to external user/admin or even external company that is responsible for documentation
• Having documentation on standalone installation makes your production classifieds data secure
• Wordpress is nowadays too big, with frequent security incidents making your file system unsecure
• If your main business is in Osclass, there is no reason to include additional CMS (Wordpress) to built just documentation. It’s always preferable to stay on same technology stack
• Osclass is super secure and not attractive for hackers due to very specific usage – classfieds

Osclass features not supported by DocsBase theme

As purpose of this theme is documentation-based website/CMS, following Osclass features – specific for classifieds – are not supported by DocsBase theme:

• Most of plugins has no meaning in DocsBase, as plugins are built for classifieds – especially front-end plugins. Plugins like Cache, Seo, Sitemap … can be useful.
• Users, login, registration, user area, all user-related pages and functions
• Item publish, edit, item images
• Locations, category icons & colors
• Web contact form, item contact form
• Item report, send to friend
• Alerts

Note: this is not theme suitable for classifieds!
