Better content control for classifieds

More Edit Plugin for Osclass brings better moderation control of your ads. It has many powerful features that helps you to keep ads content under control:

Moderate all ads

This functionality holds every listing published on your classifieds website and disable (block) it once published. Admin is then required to check this ad and if content is OK (i.e. it’s not spam, duplicate, legal, …) it is enabled and just after that visible in front to all your customers.

Moderate edit

Enable this option to hold every listing that has been edited for control. It may easily happen that some of your customers will first publish “OK” listing and then edit it and put there harass or forbidden content that may bring you to problems with authorities.

Using moderate edit option, once ad is edited, it’s going to be disabled (blocked) until you validate it’s content and activate it.

Disable edit

Classifieds with high traffic may have problems to validate all their content, hundreds of listings every hour, it takes time to make sure everything is alright. When you count to it to moderate also all listing edits, you may think about it would be better to not allow listing edits and let enabled only publish and removal listing option.

Disable edit option do just right this, it simply do not allow your customers to edit their listings mostly for reason that there is not enough time to validate edited content (on classifieds where it is required)

Notify admin in case of editing

Problem with ad edit moderation could be, that edited listing is not going to get at top of listings like for newly published, so it may be hard to search for all edited listings those are pending moderation.

Notify setting can solve this problem by sending notification to site admin that there is ad that has been edited and is pending moderation.

Max ads per week / Max ads per month

Your classifieds site has increasing activity and amount of content that require validation getting to sky? No need to panic, you can simply limit how much ads can single user publish per week or per month.

Note that max ads per month should be higher than max ads per week limit.
