The GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation starts on 25 May 2018. All companies handling data of EU resident data will be required to follow the new regulation or risk fines of up to 20 000 000 EUR or 4% of annual worldwide turnover. If your company is present in the EU, sells to EU residents or store data of EU residents, GDPR compliance is required. 
 
Osclass GDPR Plugin will help you to prepare osclass classifieds on this new regulation without need to modify your theme or core.

GDPR for osclass

There are 3 main functionality of GDPR plugin.

Right to be forgotten - add user account removal link into user menu, if it already is not present in your theme

Right to data portability - enables user to collect all personal data stored in your classifieds in one click and deliver these data to email of user

Checkboxes - Terms and conditions checkbox - privacy policy checkbox - Plugin provides 3 checkboxes on user registration/item publish/item edit forms. Each of checkbox can be hidden/shown and to each can be linked one static page (CMS) with details:

  • I agree with Terms and conditions
  • I agree with Privacy Policy
  • I want to receive Newsletter

Admin can also choose, based on theme used, if HTML5 validation or jQuery validate script will be used to ensure required fields are checked.

Changelog - Product updates history

1.4.1 Linked static pages (to TC, PP, NW) are now selected and saved by ID not by URL. This change enable correct URL generation on subdomain based websites.
WARNING! You must setup your linked static pages again to keep links functional!
1.4.0 Improvements on labels shown in backoffice on listings and users, to easier identify if GDPR was accepted and what type.
1.3.9 Added RTL styling.
It is now possible to disable gdpr checkboxes on publish page for logged-in users.
1.3.8 Added newsletter checkbox on user profile page (when newsletter checkbox enabled).
Means that user now can change it's consent with newsletters after registration.
1.3.7 Forced checkboxes to be shown always at bottom:

1.3.1 Fixed checkboxes validation of new modal. This verification is no more based on change event only and should work much better across different themes.
1.3.0 Added new feature - modal box is triggered to logged-in user, in case this user never consent with terms & conditions / privacy policy. This can be very useful especially for users those logged in via social networks.

Hello. Version 1.04 still works fine. now I have updated to 1.05 and get the following error message in the configuration: Warning: file_get_contents (/www/htdocs/xxxxxxxxxxx/testshop.peter-uphoff.de/oc-content/plugins/gdpr/index.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in / www / htdocs / xxxxxxxxxxxx / testshop.peter-uphoff.de/oc-includes/osclass/classes/Plugins.php on line 358 What can I do?
